Who We Are
Mt. Pleasant Mennonite Church, affiliated with the dynamic Rosedale Network (Home – Rosedale Network of Churches), is a Christ‑centered family of God empowered by the Holy Spirit. We call people into a relationship with Jesus Christ and nurture their continued growth through prayer, worship, loving relationships, providing biblically based Christian education at Mt Pleasant Christian School, service and mission outreach. We nurture and embrace a loving, caring, family community and welcome the people God has brought into our community.
In September of 2005, the church marked its 100th birthday! The community we are part of has changed substantially in that time. People are often curious about past perceptions they have had of Mennonites and wonder if they would be genuinely welcomed and embraced at Mt. Pleasant. We love to welcome new faces. We are excited about the growing community around us and the opportunity to invite our neighbors to worship with us and to serve them as an expression of God=s love. As a church and Christian school with a long history, we recognize the strengths of family, stability, and connectedness we have to offer. We continually strive to be the truly welcoming and loving people God has called us to be.
Our greatest desire is for all people to passionately love God, love and serve others, and live in the power and blessing of the Holy Spirit. It is truly a blessing whenever someone new comes to worship with us. We can sense the presence of the Holy Spirit among us and would be thrilled to have you and your family join us.
